I finally gave up with that idea. I decided I was looking for the mobo’s driver so I should post here. The problem comes when XP reboots, it does not boot from as I think it should but the C: I hope that works for you. My Acer Nitro 5 is dead I had this happen and the RAID card need it’s driver ti even reconize the card. Do not post advertisements, offensive material, profanity, or personal attacks.

Found out it can’t be done. The first 2 are mirrored in a RAID1 array and the 3rd one is my backup storage rald.

It sounds like you broke the “NO 2 Masters Rule”. I hope this helps. Then it should boot. It sounds as if both are enabled, I suggest rejumpering your IDE drive to act as Slave and partition it as a logical drive.

Wed Mar 21, 1: Thanks, I was debating if this should be mobo or OS forum. From my understanding I can install vista from inside my XP install and manually tell it to install on a certain drive, but where does the raid instructions come from if Vista is on it’s own drive and XP is not telling the system it’s a raid, and neither is the mobo???
