I finally gave up with that idea. I decided I was looking for the mobo’s driver so I should post here. The problem comes when XP reboots, it does not boot from as I think it should but the C: I hope that works for you. Found out it can’t be done. The first 2 are mirrored in a RAID1 array and the 3rd one is my backup storage rald.

It sounds like you broke the “NO 2 Masters Rule”. I hope this helps. Then it should boot. It sounds as if both are enabled, I suggest rejumpering your IDE drive to act as Slave and partition it as a logical drive.

Wed Mar 21, 1: Thanks, I was debating if this should be mobo or OS forum. From my understanding I can install vista from inside my XP install and manually tell it to install on a certain drive, but where does the raid instructions come from if Vista is on it’s own drive and XP is not telling the system it’s a raid, and neither is the mobo???

Regardless of how I set up the bios I could not make it work. Please remember to be considerate of other members.
